Adult size: Female 22 mm, male 18mm

Lifespan: Female +3 years, male 1 to 1 1/2 year.

Terrarium: For sling/baby Pill bottle or small plastic container until juvenile stage. They need to be housed in smaller container to be able to hunt well. Juveniles and adults can be in a larger terrarium accorded to size. Adult can be housed in 8x8x12". Prioritize height and cross ventilation.

Recommended temperature: Room temperature (20-25C)

Humidity: Light mist the walls every 2 days so that the baby can drink. Provide a small bowl of water for juvenile and adult stages. Mist every 2 days. Watch out for large drops of water and do not mist the spider directly

Light: Jumping spiders are diurnal, bright light is very important for them to be able to hunt and stay active. They have really good vision.

Feeding: Feed according to size. Babies eat fruit flies. Juveniles and adults eat crickets. They can eat twice their size.

Meal frequency: For sling 4-5 fruitflies every other day. Feed juveniles every 3 days, sub-adults every 3-8 days, adults every 5-10 days according to the abdomen size.

At i5 you should stop fruit fly feeding and start small crickets or mealworms.
